Hello everyone!
Welcome to our Little Acorn blog site. We hope that you will use this part of our site to share ideas and get useful information on making our material even better. We have been so blessed and know that God is working great things for our brotherhood. Thanks so much for all of your generous comments. Let's continue to fight for our families and the Lord's church. May God be glorified in all that we say and do! We love you all. Have a great VBS this summer!

your eyes on Jesus VBS ideas
This was the first VBS program we put together
and published. Even though we've made
improvements on our other material - this one's
still a gem! Here's an idea that will really tie
your VBS program together. Develop a character
that is unfit and lazy. Call him/her Olympic Bob
or Olympic Sally - or come up with a better name.
Develop some interaction with this character and
the worship leader. Talk about what it takes to
enter and compete in a sports event. Have him/her
come back each night for more training, ex.
selecting a coach, persevering, and finally a
"physically fit" Olympic Bob on the last night.
Parallel Olympic Bob's progress with the theme of
VBS and making spiritual ties to his/her progress
and the development of a Christian. Hope this
sparks some ideas!
